Welcome to the
Smithware I*net Data Server Guided Tour

The only real choice for building I*net database applications

Join us for a look at the Smithware IDS in action. By taking this brief guided tour, you'll be able to see for yourself just a few of the many things you can do with I*net Data Server from Smithware.

Before we get started on our journey, we would like to get acquainted with you. Please take a moment to fill out the survey below and press "Submit" to send it to us. If you do not wish to do so at this time, or if your browser is having difficulty displaying the survey correctly, feel free to press "Onward!" at the bottom of this page and begin the guided tour.

The form you are about to fill out is actually a Java applet created with the Java class library in the IDS Developer's Kit. This applet saves the data you enter directly into a Btrieve file on Smithware's I*net Data Server located in Nashville, TN and it does this with calls directly from the web page without using any kind of scripting language or any multi-layered data access method. Isn't that neat!
